In all honesty, I purchased the game 7 years ago. I kept my patience, but if I had made a purchase recently, I would have just asked for a refund. But it is very unlikely if you have already passed the 2-hour mark. You would have to tolerate this if you want to play multiplayer and using Origin and not Steam.

To keep it brief: I launched the game and entered my serial and played a little bit of single player. Decided I wanted to play some online matches and upon clicking the multiplayer button it prompted me to create an account and enter my serial key again. Every time I enter my key for multiplayer it tells me "This serial key is already in use".
